Do I have to pay a buyer’s agent commission?
With the recent National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement, you are not obligated to pay a buyer’s agent commission. That said, we do suggest keeping an open mind, as most buyers may submit a request to cover their agent’s fee in the form of a seller concession. The List1500 program includes all the essential services to get your home relisted and sold for just $1500 upfront or 1% at closing. However, we strongly recommend adding a transaction coordinator for $500, due only upon closing and funding, to ensure you're kept up to date on all critical deadlines. Additionally, professional photos are required, and packages range from $99 to $250, depending on your selection. For a $400K home, your total cost could be around $2500, which still saves you up to $9500 compared to a traditional 3% listing fee.
