What is Smart Move? Smart Move is a free rental search and move-in help service from Local Realty Agency Mid-Cities. We help renters find apartments, townhomes, and rental homes in Fort Worth, Arlington, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and nearby areas.
What is included in the Smart Move Package? It can include rental search help, utility and internet setup, a mover connection, renters insurance options, and possible cash back after move-in. You choose which parts you want.
Does Smart Move cost renters anything? No. It is free for renters. Participating properties may pay us a referral fee when you lease and list Smart Move as the referral source.
How does the cash back work? When a property pays us a referral fee, we share part of it back with you after you move in. If that property does not pay us, there is no cash back on that one. Think of it as a bonus on top of Smart Move, never a reason to pick a place you do not love.
How much cash back can I get? It varies by property. When the property's commission info is available, we can give you an estimate before you apply. The final amount is confirmed after move-in and payment.
What kinds of rentals can you help me find? Apartments, townhomes, and single-family rental homes. What is available depends on your area, budget, move date, and requirements.
What areas do you serve? Mainly Fort Worth, Arlington, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Keller, and nearby communities on the Fort Worth side of the Metroplex.
Do I have to use the concierge or mover? No. Every partner service is optional. You decide what you want, and we only share your contact info after you give permission.
Will you share my information? Only with your approval. If you ask for help from a utility concierge, mover, or insurance pro, we ask first before sending your contact info.
When should I contact you? Before you tour, contact, or apply at a property. Many properties require the referral source to be registered at the first contact or visit.
Can you help me buy a home later? Yes. When you are ready to buy, LRAMC can help you look at homes and see if you qualify for Smart Buyer Advantage.
Can you help renters with pets? Yes. Tell us the number, type, breed, and size of your pets and we will look for rentals with policies that may fit. Fees and approval rules vary by property.
What about credit or rental history concerns? We can look for rentals that may match what you tell us, but each property makes its own call. Be honest on the form about credit, income, evictions, and broken leases so we do not waste your time.
